Our Fuel Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of retail fuel systems and associated equipment.

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and rectification of fuel equipment faults, repairs and replacement

• Minor installation and calibration of equipment and systems

• Supporting installation staff with general construction labouring including warehouse, equipment and site preparation, general construction duties, clean-up of site and transportation of tools and equipment.

• Other general labour and construction related duties as required.

 

Safety

• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

• Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.

• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.

 

Working Conditions

• Out of area travel may be required.

• Overtime as required.

• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and fumes.

• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 20kg on a regular basis.

• Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.

• Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.

• Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.

 

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

• Ability to work autonomously with little supervision

• Technical and mechanical knowledge and skills

• Skilled use of power and hand tools

• Practical problem solving and diagnostic skills

• Customer service and professional communication skills

• Focus on quality, efficiency and customer retention

• Commitment to WHS

• Unrestricted driver’s licence

 

Must be accountable, have strong work ethic, have a commitment to the customer's objective and work efficiently.
